Media Coffee Podcast

I also host and produce PR Newswire’s monthly podcast, Media Coffee, where I interview prominent journalists, publishers and PR professionals. We discuss the evolving media landscape, what makes stories newsworthy and how PR professionals can build stronger relationships with the press. Episodes are published and promoted across major podcast streaming platforms, Cision and PR Newswire websites, social media channels, including YouTube, newsletters and email marketing campaigns. Check out my latest interview below.

PR Experience

My communications strategies have helped clients secure coverage in top-tier media outlets. For example, I worked with attorney Wayne Cohen to support his law firm’s expansion into Los Angeles, securing media placements in outlets with a combined reach of over 200 million. The coverage helped build his reputation as a legal expert, increase visibility and strengthen his law firm’s SEO. Developed in collaboration with legal marketing agency Matador Solutions, the campaign also helped the agency expand its PR services for attorneys and law firms. Selected media placements are featured below.

Agency Experience

Before joining Cision, I spent over five years at tech PR agencies developing and executing communications strategies, securing earned media coverage, and managing client accounts. I've worked with clients across industries, supporting media relations, strategic communications, and award submissions. Below are highlights of my client experience and PR work.

Podcasts

Podcast interviews I secured for clients, connecting executives and industry experts with relevant audiences.

Beyond my PR and account management responsibilities at Trust Relations, I secured and coordinated guest appearances for the company’s podcast, The PR Wine Down. Guests included Allison Carter, Editorial Director at Ragan Communications; Molly McPherson, a crisis communications expert; and Andrea Holland, founder of RemotePRJobs. Topics included crisis communications, AI, and emerging trends in public relations.

At Nectar Communications, I secured two podcast interviews for Ripple executives. Devraj Varadhan, SVP of Engineering, appeared on the Stack Overflow Podcast to discuss blockchain technology, financial inclusion, and economic uncertainty. Asheesh Birla joined former Wall Street Journal corporate reporter Kathy Chu for a conversation on cross-border payments and blockchain’s role in transforming financial services.
